How It Works

Installing PicLens

Click Download on the main page and follow the instructions to complete the installation process. PicLens will activate the next time Firefox is launched.

If a yellow bar appears with the the message "Firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer", click the "Edit Options" button to right of the yellow bar. Then click "Allow" and then "Close." This gives Firefox permission to install add-ons to your browser from the PicLens website.

Using PicLens

PicLens provides an immersive full-screen experience for viewing photos on the supported sites listed below and on sites that support Media RSS.

Step 1. To use PicLens on supported sites, simply mouse over an image and click the PicLens button that fades in.

Step 2. PicLens will automatically jump into a "3D Wall" of images, where you can then scroll and zoom into images, jump back to the corresponding webpage, and even toggle into full-screen mode.

Step 3. Once in full-screen mode, you can sit back to watch a slideshow or skip to any photo by clicking it.

Uninstalling PicLens

To remove PicLens from your computer, go to Firefox Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, select PicLens, and then click Uninstall.
